Denny`s Restaurant - Downtown in Kamloops

So... I'm not a fan of Denny's menu and prefer healthier food. I never usually eat here. It's just adjacent to the hotel I'm in and convenient.This five stars is mostly for the staff. The servers were absolutely fantastic and the kitchen staff must be flying back there. With the menu they have to work with, the food is good.Again, fantastic staff. Can't say it enough.

This was the first time we have gone out to a restaurant since the pandemic began. Other than some of the newer rules, it was by far the best service I have had from Denny's in a very long time. The food was quick, hot and everything was exactly as ordered.

When you have no where else to go, at least it's more real than 711

Best place in town , consistent friendly n always great food .Had been here 10 plus times n never disappointed.Try their skillets , specially the Gouda cheese one n prime rib diner sandwich

The food is good, and the servers are mostly happy and friendly. The one manager bought pizza for his crew, ths day, which made this day a good one for the staff. All were happy, so all the experience was good. May your visit be good too!😉☝️

Doris was exceptional, pleasant and extremely courteous. The food was spectacular.

I was impressed with Dennys at the downtown location in Kamloops. COVID precautions are taken seriously and had an organized system. I was thoroughly impressed with my server Kerry as she made my experience very desirable. She had a positive attitude, was friendly and very efficient. She got my order correct due to allergies/dietary needs and even took the extra time to repeat my order back to me to see if she missed anything. She's the reason I will be coming back. :)

Denny's provide a wide range of options for us, including meat lover, vegetarian, all day breakfast.....

Delicious love the +55 omelette with whole grain toast and fruit bowl. Great value

Loved the food here and the staff was nice too. Food came quickly. I gave it 3 stars because my waitress made an issue about substituting ham for Turkey Bacon since I don't eat pork. I've gone to many different Denny's in the past and this has never been an issue. Because of that, I don't think I would come back to this location!

Sarah is just the most amazing server I've ever had. Shes whipping back and forth getting everything I need. Super nice managers and awesome staff. No where I'd rather eat. Favorite time to come is in the evenings when Jeremy's in the kitchen. Best food in town!!

Poor service from the get go.. While myself.. Mother in law and husband got continually ignored.. Our waitress was busy falling over herself to serve a table of young boys that got there after us.. The food was not as good as I remembered it being years ago.. But that was a small inconvenience compared to being treated life we weren't even important enough to take care of our basic needs.. Utensils.. Water.. Our food in a timely fashion.. All in all we will never go back... Not to that particular one anyway

Not impressed with this location and we didnt have the best service or enjoyed our food. I would highly recommend Denny's on the North shore or Dallas Location (less people, quiet, and amazing services). Picture is of food I couldnt eat because it was saturated in hot sauce and husband fries were soggy.

They ripped me off.... theyre take out onlt gives you half the amount.... i ordered a steak omelete and i recieved kids mesl omlete. Last time im coming to this dennys....

Best late night food, I always get their loaded nachos. Always an entertaining place and atmosphere to be in!

Love the food. Normally I tend to reach there in the morning by 4 and order a pancake along with oreo milkshake, best combination ever. The ambience is good, decent seating arrangements and moreover, its clean. Only downside is in the morning the service is a bit slow. Maybe they will improve it in the future. Kudos!

Machine broke down so couldn't pay bill. They need an atm in there so people can get cash

I have been going to the downtown Denny's for years with my family and it has been amazing until the this year with new staff and new change. The changes are for the worst with new manger Jigar ( not sure if I spelt his name right). He was no help to severs who where extremely busy instead he sat down at a table with the other manger Heather I believe her name was and flirted, it was incredibly inappropriate to do so at a place of profession. During this visit he also raised his voice at a sever in front of customers, not sure for what reason but no manger should treat an employee like that. It was disgusting and vile behaviour that should be dealt with head office. It's sad to see a place like Denny, which has been my weakly routine slip through the cracks.

My waitress kept forgetting about us and they messed up our order and tried to charge us for it while I was there with family. The food tasted great though and most of my experiences are positive and when we went it was pretty late in the day so they were probably just tired. Food always tasted good though and you can tell how hard everyone is working.

I havnt gone in awhile but for what I remember. I was pretty good

Can be something in your Denny’s poutine as the Denny’s gentleman said the poutine was just made fresh by the chef while in actuality I brought it back to the hotel room and the poutine was all in all cold potatoes and an old dish altogether with a question how they can sell old dishes to the customers assuring them otherwise, food safety wise it is atrociously illegal and could not be done anywhere else but a big diner in medium city. Definitely an experience for me while visiting Canada. Food portions are huge but the quality isn't great. That said, staff are friendly and if you're super hungry you cant go too wrong here - I've never seen so many options on a menu. Plus, bottomless coffee.

It's Danny's, predictable but OK...just wish I didn't have to ask to have the table cleaned when we were seated.

I thought nachos have cheese. My bad. The lesson learned is, when at a burger joint, just order a burger. 🤦 I did order a plain cheeseburger for my son. Ketchup and cheese with bacon. $15.15!!!!!! That's insane. You've been warned.

wasn’t impressed with the quality of our breakfast, although the service was good. How about a good size sausage and beefier bacon.

So I had a T-bone steak with poached eggs, and it was like amazing. The ambience was so good. We have really some friendly servers here and the best part was that the food was so fulfilling. Loved it!!
